Videosync 2.0 - Main Out - Not connected

Hey guys

Really excited to see the release on windows and I am trying to get the Trial version working. I have been using Zwobot for some time (and have had a bunch of issues there) so really hopeful for this : )

I just got the trial, installed and all that with no issues however I cannot get the Main out status to connected.

Ableton Live 12 - most recent version 12.1.10

We resolved this issue on Discord. My first recommendations were:

  • Is the Max application closed? Max uses the same network port as Videosync to connect with Live, so opening a Max for Live device will break the connection with Videosync.
  • In Videosync’s Settings window, is “Connect to Live Remotely” disabled ?
  • Have you tried removing all other Control Surfaces?

Additionally, updating to Videosync 2.0.8 resolved the unexpected crashes.

A note that may help others: I had to disable to VPN to allow connection (since set up split tunnel which solves the issue_)
