Use iphone camera with videosync

Hi there! I’m a new user of videosync, and I would like to connect my iPhone camera and use it with videosync in Ableton
I have an iPhone 12 and a macbook pro 2021 with Osx Monterrey
Someone know if these hardware are compatible and how can I do it?
Thank you in advance

The ‘External In’ device will bring a video signal in from any connected camera. So if you are already able to connect your iphone to your laptop, and it is visible in Quicktime, or Zoom as an external webcam, then Videosync will see it. If not, then you will need to address that first. In my experience getting the OS to connect the iphone camera is quite tricky and a bit unreliable, but this is not a problem with Videosync. NDI is another possible tool for connecting your iphone to your laptop, but I haven’t tried it. Once a camera is visible on the computer, the ‘External In’ works like a dream, every time.

If you have macOS 13 Ventura and an iPhone that supports it, you can use it as a wireless webcam. If you’re on the same WiFi network, it should show up in External In while it’s in Device mode.

thank you so much! I just need to know if the IOSx from my Iphone is compatible with my OSx Monterrey
I’ll try it!

Hope I can make it, seems to be not really easy
Thank you!
