I just bought Beam for Live and I can’t seem to make it recognize my lights… What am I doing wrong? Do I really need to buy a new interfa e? This was working great for the simple things I wanted…

DmxSoft SUSHI-Z1 is proprietary hardware that only works with Nicolaudie Group software. It is unlikely we or any other software makers outside Nicolaudie can ever add support for it.
You can find Beam’s supported DMX interfaces here. My recommendations:
- Art-Net nodes are the best choice (most reliable and future-proof)
- DMX USB Pro is a reasonable alternative
- Avoid Open DMX devices (they are unreliable by design)
