Overlapping tracks video

Hello,
I want to ask a very basic question: I work with my videos in Arrenjament view and place several videos on different overlapping tracks.
How should I go about defining the total or relative transparency of each of the vode tracks? I can’t do it.
Greetings and thanks
Jordi

Hey Jordi! Total transparency can be controlled by muting a track (or the parent group track). Any other amount of transparency can be controlled with the Track or Chain volume.

By default, the Blend Mode for every track is Additive. The result of this is that the order of tracks doesn’t matter. If you want to create a stack order (so where opaque parts of a track obfuscate parts of an underlying layer), you will have to set the track’s Blend Mode to Alpha. You can do this with the Properties device. The right most track (Session View) or bottom most track (Arrangement View and Racks) is always the top layer while using the Alpha blend mode.

You can read more about blending on this page in the manual, or watch this video.

Hello, thank you very much for the help!
I have tried and it works. I have a desktop PC with a lot of power and a lot of RAM, especially purchased to work on video and sound.
And what happens to me is that I see the effect but in real time it stops,
What should I modify so that I can see the track overlay effects in real time?
When I apply filters they appear without any problem in real time,
but not the mix of tracks.
Greetings and Thanks!

Happy to help!

I’m not quite sure what you mean with “I see the effect but in real time it stops”. Could you maybe share a short screen recording that demonstrates the problem?
