Continuing the discussion from About LiveMTC and Tempo:
I found a software based workaround for this. I use Ableton Live for my playback and setup each track with LTC audio file. The LTC audio file isn’t dependent on the warping (just keep warping off on the track).
I send the LTC over Dante to my PC running Dante Via and videotoolshed.com’s LTC Reader, which converts the LTC to MTC. All of this is software based.
I then have a MIDI usb connection to my board. I know it sounds janky but it’s worked with dozens of shows with no glitches. The key is to have a solid switch and a good computer to run it.
