Hello, I need help with an issue I have using MTC.
Here’s my current setup:
I am using LiveMTC in Ableton Live 12 to send midi time code to grandMA3. The time code jumps back a few minutes periodically and it makes my lighting show jump back as well. When it jumps, it’s only for a split second. I do not have any tempo automation in my ableton project. I know MTC doesn’t like tempo automation. I am currently connecting the two computers using a couple iConnectivity Mio midi interfaces connected over the network.
Why does it stutter periodically?
