Greetings! I need to send different values from ableton via osc commands. Tell me how i can to make the grabber send values in a given range and not just from 0 to 1? For example i need -127 to 127 range, but sender can send only from 0 to 1.

Hi Sergey, thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the late reply.

Currently, the way to do that would be to route the LiveGrabber output through software that can transform your mapping, such as Max/MSP or OSCulator.

Hi there, is there any simple solution for the input/output ranges? I also need to work with the original range of each parameter. I really appreciate someone help me with this. I’m really stuck!

Hi Parham,

That is a good point! External tools don’t know about the original ranges. At the moment there is no way to do that, except of course for adapting the patches yourself, it’s all open source!

I think it would be good for us to add a mode that outputs the original values. I’ll add this to our list.
