is there a limit to the number of Tags you can assign with Beam for Live?
For me it was limited to 512 Tags.

Could you say more about why you need this many tags, and if possible, share your patch? I am wondering if there might be another way to do what you are trying to achieve.
The primary idea with tags is to assign them to groups of fixtures, rather than having a unique tag for every fixture. You can address individual fixtures in a tag using the assigned MIDI notes within a tag or by selecting multiple dials for the same modulation in Generic.

We may look into increasing this limit to a higher value if it turns out it is limiting creative possibilities.
