Fixture for SGM Q7 (3 channel) and Astera AX5

Hi,

does any has a fixture for SGM Q7 and Astera AX5 to share?

I tried to build these fixtures on my own…but somehow they don’t work as smooth as the Generic ones…? I experienced a stutter when using a high on off rate…? did I miss something?

This doesn’t sound like an issue with fixture profiles*, but just to be sure:

to use SGM Q-7 in its 3-channel mode you can use the Generic RGB profile
here’s a profile for the RAW 6-ch mode: SGM Q-7 - RAW - 6ch.sbf
here’s a profile for Astera AX5 Mode 12: Astera AX5 TriplePAR - Mode 12 - 6ch.sbf

You can also share the profiles you made yourself and I will have a look. Make sure your fixtures are set to the appropriate modes and the starting addresses in Beam Patch Editor correspond to the starting addresses on the fixtures themselves

*…with this out of the way, what interface are you using to output DMX? What Update Rate is Beam set to in the Preferences? Could you say a bit more about the fast on/off rate? How fast are we talking here? How are you achieving this, Beam LFO device controlling dim / automation of the dim parameter / MIDI notes triggering envelopes?
