Every time I shut down my computer, beam will not reopen.

Hi there-

I have had this issue a lot recently where I open my Mac Mini after it is shut down or restarted and Beam will not open or work anymore. I have had to reinstall it several times and then make new patches for my lighting again. This is not ideal at all, as we’re entering a long tour this month and cannot be doing this each time we arrive at a venue.

Anyone else have this issue? Any luck with resolving it? Anything I should be doing differently?

Hey there, welcome to our forum! It sounds like you’re running into cloud service interference. You can read more about this here. To resolve the issue, please ensure that the Documents folder (or at least the Beam folder inside it) is stored locally.
