I am new to using Beam. So far i have tried two difference USB-DMX interfaces. The one made by Showsync, and the Entec DMX-USB interface.
I can open both apps at the same time no problem, but when I insert the Beam plugging to a midi track, as soon as they connect beam crashes. I haven’t got it to stay open for longer than a second or two.
Any advice?

While that would be fun, we don’t make any hardware yet, so unless there’s another Showsync out there we are not yet aware of, your interface is probably made by another company. Could you please check again the brand & model?

Enttec has several DMX-USB interfaces out there, could you please let me know what model you have?

When you say both apps, are you referring to Ableton and Beam only, or could it be that there’s another lightning application/plugin running & using your DMX-USB interface (such as DMXIS VST)?
