Control surface version dismatch

Hi, I just install the latest version of Videosynch and I an’t use it. I’ve a message on the connection status saying Control surface version dismatch. Can you help me please?

Hi Noss,

Thank you for your message. Can you try and install the Control Surface again by clicking ‘Install Control Surface’ in the main menu? This should install the correct Control Surface in all Ableton Live installations. After that, make sure that ‘Videosync’ is selected as Control Surface.

I tried many times but I still can’t find videosync in the control surface. I just find the oldest version 0.5.2 and 0.6

In that case, our installer could not find your Ableton Live application. Either because its name did not start with Ableton Live 9... or it’s not located in your /Applications folder.

To have Videosync install the Control Surface in a non-standard Ableton Live application location:

  • Open the Control Surface installer by clicking ‘Install Control Surface’ in the main menu.
  • Click the ‘gear icon’ on the lower left of the window.
  • Add your Ableton Live installation by clicking the ‘+ icon’.
  • Click ‘install’ next to the newly added application.
