Constant Crashes

Hey everyone!
Looking for any tips or help here.

I have been experiencing constant crashes in Ableton 12 while programming the light show synced with my bands live set.

If anyone has tips or experience please suggest anything. Ill drop our setup and current routing below for context.

Beam 2 (Laptop 1)
Ableton w/ light automation (Laptop 2) LINK
Ableton with audio to FOH (Laptop 3) LINK
ArtNet Node – Laptop 1 & 2 connected via ethernet to a switch. I ran this setup because I thought the crashes were CPU related on just one laptop.

8 lights - 1 universe
All lights have their own Midi channel in ableton. I figured automating the Volume (intensity) of each light was the lightest on CPU instead of automating perimeters in the device/instrument - but Im still experiencing problems with crashes.

crashes started when I used the “recolour” device on the group between songs

Our live set runs in session view not clip launch.

Is there a better way I should be running this set up? Thoughts?

All laptops are M3 Macbook Pros.

Hi, thank you for reporting this. What version of Beam for Live are you using? Just earlier this week we released Beam for Live 2.0.3, an update that contains a fix for an issue where Beam for Live devices would sometimes crash Live 12.1.
If you haven’t already, please update to 2.0.3 and try again. If this is still occurring with Beam 2.0.3, please share the crash report (you can find that in the macOS’s Console application) in our ongoing e-mail thread. We prefer to stay in touch about any such technical issues via e-mail, while workflow-related topics are nice to discuss in the forum, so that anyone can chime in. Thanks!

The fix for the issue has been released in Beam for Live 2.0.4 a few days ago. Thanks for helping us resolve this!
