Betopper LM70S profile needs tweaking?

Hello there,

It seems that the profile for the Betopper LM70S is not quite right.. using the MovingHead device, I can get the Pan and Tilt controls to work, but Intensity (and HSL color swatch) dial does not.

However, on the Strobe device, the Intensity and HSL controls do work, so I have to have both devices on different tracks to control the LM70, which is not ideal.

I’d appreciate any help getting the full feature set of the unit to work from a single device on a single track if possible!

Thanks!

Hi, thanks for spotting this! The Master Control channel was previously incorrectly mapped as stroberate (in 14-channel mode) and Intensity (in 9-channel mode), but it is actually a combined channel that controls both dimming and strobing. Here’s the fixture profile that fixes this:

You should now be able to use the MovingHead device directly. If you want to control strobing, use the Generic device and select the shutterstrobe modulation (Strobe device is only for controlling fixtures with stroberate and strobeduration modulations, which is now no longer the case).

Let me know if you are still experiencing any issues.
