Is there any plans for an update for Max9? Or is there any way to make Beam work for Max9 right now? Every time I load a [beam.core], Max crashes instantly. I’ve managed to make a work around for now by sending data with [updsend] and [udprecieve] to a Max8 build running Beam.

Beam for Max should be compatible with Max 9. I just tried some of the help files in Max 9.0.5 and I’m not experiencing any crashes, so the issue you’re running into might be a yet unknown bug.
What version of Max 9 are you using? And what operating system do you use? Any chance you have a crash log you can send our way?

I’m running Windows 11 Pro with Max 9.0.5. I do have a Mac Mini M1 I could try to use as well but since I mostly work on my Windows laptop while at work it would be nice to get it to work…
Can’t see to find any generated crash log. Which directory should I find them in.

On Windows, you can use the Event Viewer application. Open Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application and there should be a file that starts with Max- and has a .dmp file extension.
