# Videosync keeps shutting on ableton live 11 standard

Hello,

I am encountering a problem when i play my video file in ableton session mode using video sync. It plays for a couple of clips and automatically it keeps shutting on me. I am using ableton 11 standard version.

Sorry to hear about that! Can you please share more information about your setup?

- Are you on Windows or macOS?
- Which version of Windows or macOS?
- Which exact version of Videosync are you using?
- Could you make and share a screen recording of the issue occuring?
- By “shutting”, do you mean the Videosync application closes automatically?

I am on windows 11 and I am using version 2, it just stop video video completely. When I open app again it start working for few minutes and then close again

Thanks, that’s helpful info! For Windows, Videosync 2 is officially supported for use with Live 12 and newer only. This is listed [in the system requirements](https://support.showsync.com/videosync/introduction#system-requirements).

The reason for this is that Live 12 for Windows received a new video engine, which Videosync partly relies on. Without this newer video engine we can’t guarantee the same level of reliability and stability, which is likely what you’re running into.

If upgrading to Live 12 is an option for you, that should resolve it. Ableton offers a free trial if you’d like to test it first.
