# Syphon Audio Video Recording

Hello !

Is anyone having issues with syphon not recording audio output all of a sudden ? I’m using loopback to route the audio to syphon per the manual which I have done many times before with no issues. Video is recording no problem…

I’m using ableton 12 and sonoma 14.5

Let me know and if you have any other workarounds !

Hey Sean, welcome to the forum!

While Syphon Recorder usually is great for quick recordings, perhaps OBS is a bit more reliable with these things. Could be worth checking out [this topic](https://forum.showsync.com/t/automate-videosync-a-v-output-recording/1525) 🙂
