Is there a possibility that more “colorspaceType” properties for SBFv3 schema will be added? I have quite a lot of fixtures that are using RGBA, RGBAW or RGBAL (A is for amber, L is lime) additive colormixing and support for that would be cool…
And if not, is there a possible workaround how to create profiles for those fixtures other than switching the fixture to a basic RGB personality?
Thanks for bringing this up! Supporting additive color mixing using auxiliary colors (other than R/G/B/W) is something we’d love to do, but as the maximum brightness of LED emitters for such colors is often not tuned to match the RGBW emitters, and the exact chromaticity of what e.g. “Lime” or “Indigo” refers to varies from fixture to fixture, requiring data about the emitters, we are still exploring how to implement this consistently.
Currently the way to work with additional emitters is just to map them as modulations and mix them in manually, next to the colors controlled by the Colorspace.
