A \ B Mixing thru Syphon

Hello,

Where do i add the SyphonOut effect if I want to send the mix to Resolume?

This is what i do:

Open Resolume
Open Live
Videosync Master into master track
Launch Videosync
Load a Mp4 clip to Audio Track 3
Load a Mp4 clip to Audio Track 4

Everything work fine. I can fade each tracks

Now: Where do i add the SyphonOut effect?

I have tried to add it to the master track but it wont work for me, this is what i get:

All fader down but the master
-If i pull track 3 fader up i get something on Videosync windows but nothing in Syphon
-Track 3 fader down, when i pull track 4 fader up i get something on Videosync and Syphon
-Track 3 fader up, when i pull track 4 up then it mix the two video but something its not right…

Hi Simon,

Thank you for your report. You’re using SyphonOut in the correct way, but there seems to be a bug which causes it to behave this way.

I can reproduce this problem and we’ll look into it asap!

I just tested the new version and it works!

I have tried with 4 Mp4 clips on 4 different audio tracks and it work very well.

Glad to hear that. Thanks again for your report, these are very valuable for us!

A small tip which might come in handy:
You can use sends and return tracks to create multiple ‘mixes’ for SyphonOut.
